The EconAqua system is a low pressure water mist system. This system reduces the required quantity of extinguishing water by up to 85% compared to classic sprinkler systems, the result of which is far less secondary damage in the process of fire fighting (damage caused by extinguishing fire).

The diameter of the droplet in a classic sprinkler system is > 1 mm with the total cumulative surface of 1 litre of water ~ 3 m2, while in the case of EconAqua low pressure water mist the diameter of the droplet is < 1 mm with the total cumulative surface of 1 litre of water ~ 60 m2. This obviously results in better and more efficient fire extinguishing.

Special spray nozzles with a rapid RTI factor are installed in the EconAqua system and in the case of a fire, only the sprayers in the immediate vicinity of the fire are set off.

The EconAqua fire suppression system may be employed only in the areas classified as LH, OH1 and OH2 (garage facilities only). There are also limitations as to the height of the protected area of the structures where the mentioned protection system is allowed.
