In the case of a fire, the fire alarm part of the system signals the fire and activates the electromagnetic actuator on the pilot cylinder which opens the valve on the cylinder. The remaining cylinders required for extinguishing a fire in the protected zone are activated by means of the pneumatic actuator.   <\/p>\n<p>The time of extinguishing a fire using the Inergen \/ IG55 fire suppression system is a maximum of 60 seconds at 20\u00b0C. The minimum hold time of the required concentration of the gas in the protected zone in compliance with the standards should be 10 min. This period of time is checked using the door fan test. During discharge in the protected zone, a negative pressure occurs.
